It’s been three years since Panic! At The Disco released their last album Pretty. Odd. But the boys of Panic! At The Disco produced a recent album that is filled with excitement. It also came along with a phenomenal tour.
Panic! At The Disco is a band straight out of Las Vegas, Nevada. This band has had a rapid rise to fame in the music industry and they aren’t stopping. This summer, the guys of Panic! At The Disco teamed up with label mates Fun. and Funeral Party to give a high spirited show in their hometown for all ages to enjoy.
Although Panic! At The Disco has lost two original members in the past couple years, Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith kept the band going and they’re doing everything right to make it as a duo. Panic! At The Disco is made up of Brendon Urie (Vocals, Keys) and Spencer Smith (Drums). On this tour, they took along friends Dallon Weekes (Bass, Vocals) and Ian Crawford (Guitar, Vocals). Both fill in members kept up with Urie and Smith’s vibe with the audience. Brendon Urie can sing up a storm. His powerful vocals paired with the catchy melody this band creates, gives their music an edge. Not only does he have a voice, Urie also has a charismatic presence when he steps on stage. The crowd loved him. Spencer Smith would be considered the back bone of the band. Although he was reserved throughout the show, Smith kept every beat.
Panic! At The Disco’s set consisted of song from their newest album Vices & Virtues and A Fever You Can’t Sweat. They started off with the single “Ready To Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind).” The crowd went wild. They sang every single word to the song and danced to every single beat. Throughout the song, Panic! played their best hits from all their albums. This included “The Ballad of Mona Lisa” to “Camisado.” The guys from Fun. also jumped into Panic!’s set to sing a collaborative song “C’mon”. The crowd was more than ecstatic to see these two bands together on stage. The boys of Panic! At The Disco ended their set with “The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is A Press Coverage.” But the audience couldn’t have enough of Panic! At The Disco, they demanded an encore. On their encore set, Panic! At The Disco covered Kansas’ song “Carry On My Wayward Son” and they did the song justice. To end the show, Panic! played “Nearly Witches (Ever Since We Met…) and left the crowd with high spirits.
Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith have come a long way since their album Pretty. Odd. They’ve progressed in this industry and gained many new fans with their newest album Vices & Virtues.
